This project set a new precedent as the first ever approval for waterfront townhouses in Sylvania. The three story residences respond to shifting consumer preference towards lower maintenance and better lifestyle. They comprise four bedrooms, four bathrooms, three car lock up garages, two living areas, dedicated boat storage and boat ramp, elevated entertaining terraces and plunge pools. The building design took cues from multiple futurist designs in popular culture, including the iconic Delorian from Back to the Future.

projects is heading to site early next month. Inspired by the innovative design of the DeLorean DMC-12, these townhouses respond to the geography of the wedge shaped site, presenting a large curved rear end to the street and more pointed linear nose towards the water. The facades themselves are clad in a mix of rendered concrete, and reconstituted timber cladding and louvres.
