Believe it or not, this modernist jewel is actually an alterations and additions project. The original modest two storey bungalow has been absorbed into a contemporary three storey residence of the highest quality. Softened by a curving roof form, the dwelling nestles discreetly into the end of a cul-de-sac in Woollahra, and captures views out over Cooper Park. Currently in design development, this waterfront project involves the redevelopment of an existing dilapidated two storey commercial building into a contemporary three storey retail and commercial destination. Once completed, the building will act as a landmark gateway to the adjacent retail precinct.
Our new townhouse development in Lennox Head has been designed to function either as separate holiday units or one large dwelling. The dynamic street facade appears as a single integrated development, and references the fluid movement of the world class point break it overlooks. The pared back, low maintenance landscaping and white washed facades also harkens back to the architecture of the Greek islands – an early reference from the client.
This competitive tender for a large waterfront development was a trip down memory lane for our Managing Director. Ten years after the completion of Stage One at King Street Wharf in Sydney, this project brought back together the Project Architect, Development Manager and Construction Manager of that incredibly successful project, for another shot at reworking a significant track of dilapidated inner city foreshore.

Recently, we were commissioned to undertake our two hundred and twentieth project, so we thought it fitting to put together a quick retrospective of some key projects from the last hundred or so. Thanks again to everyone for their support over the past twelve years.
